Support for PEARL has been provided by the MIT-Portugal Program, a strategic international partnership between Portuguese universities and research institutions, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Portuguese government, as well as partners from industry and other non-academic institutions.

Additional assistance for the project has been provided by Harrison Frith and Jason Lambert at Pivotel America Inc., a satellite services company that has helped develop firmware necessary to enable PEARL’s automated data transfer protocol.
